The Canon RF-mount Samyang AF 85mm f/1.4 is a short-telephoto lens designed for portraiture, featuring a fast f/1.4 maximum aperture for excellent control over depth of field and subject isolation. Its optical design incorporates four high refractive index elements to reduce spherical aberrations and distortion, ensuring sharpness and clarity. An extra-low dispersion element helps control color fringing and chromatic aberrations, delivering high color accuracy. The lens also features Ultra Multi-Coating to minimize flare and ghosting, enhancing contrast in strong lighting. Fast and quiet autofocus is provided by the Ultrasonic Dual Linear motor and internal focusing design. A nine-blade diaphragm contributes to beautiful, smooth bokeh.
