The Samyang 50mm F1.2 AS UMC CS for Sony NEX is a prime lens that truly offers speed with a portrait-length perspective. Designed for Sony E-mount mirrorless cameras, this lens provides a focal length equivalent to 75mm. The combination of a long perspective and a bright f/1.2 aperture allows for extensive control over focus placement, further enhanced by a manual focus design and a nine-blade circular diaphragm for smooth bokeh quality. The lens construction incorporates a pair of aspherical elements to minimize chromatic aberrations and distortion, resulting in cleaner, sharper image quality with no color fringing. Ultra Multi-Coating is also applied to improve contrast by reducing lens flare and ghosting.
